The department of Anaesthesiology provides round the clock services with 5 Operation Theatres, 23 bedded Surgical Intensive Care Unit and 10 bedded Post Operative ward. In addition the department alos provides support to Cathlab, Radiology and Radiation therapy department for procedural sedation

The department is provided with State of the art infrastructure, high end Anaesthesia work stations, monitors and OTs with HEPA filters. Well qualified manpower and state of the art infrastructure will provide world class healthcare experience in our Operation Theatres

The department runs a pre anesthesia clinic (PAC) , where patients and relatives can discuss about anesthesia risks , types and expected outcomes with our consultant before any proposed procedures.

- Our department is well equipped in handling high risk patients like extremes of age, (neonates to nanogenarians), advanced medical illness and polytrauma patients .
- Our department runs the Smile Train Programme in which young children with cleft lip and palate are operated for free.
- Blood Bank is situated near to OT and it helps to manage all variety of poly trauma and obstetric patients round the clock effectively.
- Using a top notch hemodynamic monitoring and supporting devices (Invasive Blood pressure monitoring, TEE, IABP and ECMO) we are anaesthetizing patients for high end specialty surgeries (Renal transplant, Whipple's procedure, hepatic resection, video assisted thoracoscopy) on a day to day basis.
- We have a dedicated Cardiac Anaesthesiologist and his team to take care of patients undergoing cardiac surgeries.
- The department provides round the clock acute pain care facility to all post operative patients.
- We practice day care anaesthesia for all possible surgical procedures.
